The word communicate comes from the Latin, and it means sharing between two people, or two groups. But this does not mean that they totally agree.This means that they have difficulties in understanding and have many problems due to this.
Our understanding to the other sharing part depends on:background experiences,attitudes, language skills,beliefs..etc

How to improve communication skills?
Here are some of the behavior that will improve your communication performances.
Listen concentrated to the writer or speaker-You have to be part constantly and get involved in the process of conversation.As you listen to someone try to examine what he/she is saying.
Your self-image-The better our self image is, the better our sharing and understanding will be. To improve your self-concept means to challenge our assumptions.
Learn to understand non-verbal communication.
Non-verbal communication is everything except the words.This means, tone of voice, gestures, accent, attitudes.Significant understanding and communication can take place either without speaking a word.This behavior affect our way of understanding someone. By paying attention to how we dress, how we speak, how we look we can achieve success in the process of understanding each others .
 So better communication can affect family relationships,enhance business opportunities, and in in total our quality of life.

Business and communication.
 We know that business companies are made of people.An Harvard professor previously said that in business communication is everything. The lack of communication skills costs and is expensive.
1.You must know that most of the firms require training for their employees.I have read that 3.1$ billion are spend by American Businesses just for training people to write.
People unable to express their self clearly in writing skills,limit their chances for good salaries and employment.
We also know that the 21ist is a century with complex work businesses and communication skills are fundamental. Modern businesses are organized in teams and communication is the basic to success.
2.The new way of management requires communication skills to build, promote and empower others-no more orders. The diversity in the stuff of a modern business makes it impossible to work in a team without good communication.
3.We know that economics is becoming globally.This means and requires managers with international experiences which is becoming a necessity.The ability to compete in the global economy is a aim today for Businesses.
For these reasons communication is crucial to Business success.You may be a specialized Business one but you just need communication skills which are vital and guarantee succeed.

Tips for better communication
-Consider your objectives.You should know what listeners must remember of you.To achieve an objective you should be able to transmit and communicate.

-Consider your audience.If they react positively and are receptive to your message, you can be more direct to them.

-Consider your credibility to the audience.This can affect the implication of communication.

-Motivate others.You can do this by telling the benefits of your point.If you create a common background to the opening message you can make your audience more receptive.

-Think about your channel choice, cons and pros of it, and the preferred channel of the listener.

-If you want to convey a complex information use writing forms.If your message is sensitive you cannot use an email.Face to face communication would be more effective
