Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world! This mountain stands over 29,000 feet. It's actually a 29,028 ft high rock and snow peak of the Himalayas in Nepal. It is located on the border of Tibet and Nepal. The Mountain was named after Sir George Everest. Everest was a land surveyor and geographer and measured India, the largest land measurement of the time. The view is absolutely breath taking.
Kathmandu is the Capital of Nepal.
