I am a mother, wife and friend, but I am also ME!!!!

Moms,

With your busy schedules, do you ever wonder where is ME time?  It seems like your always running for someone.. I sit back and wonder, what happened to Me? 

This weekend, I was invited to Super Soap Weekend by one friend and then to go see Eddie Money, Grand Funk Railroad and Atlanta Rhythem section by another.  All this, and still take care of the housework, family and hubby. Where do you draw the line?

This weekend, I went on strike. I did absolutly nothing but take time out for ME!!  I didnt go see the sexy hunks of ABC Soaps and I didnt go to the concert. I didnt clean the house and I didnt do things that needed to get done.   I decided that I needed a rest and I would take care of me.

Sometimes when we run and make others happy, you fail to take care of yourself. How many of you would have went and made your friends happy?  How many would have said, kids need this and hubby needs that so that means I should do it. 

Taking care of yourself means taking care of your family and friends. Ever hear the saying, "If momma aint happy, there aint no one happy"  Well, its absolutly true.  I was watching Oprah the other day and Sting and Heidi Klum were on there talking about their relationship.  Sting described his relationship to a T. He said Heidi comes first as a women, wife and then mother.  Some of you wouldnt agree with that but I am telling you after raising 4 boys, I totally agree. 

I am giving you all an assignment, I want you to all take out a little time for yourself today and do something for you.  Try and make it for at least a half hour.   I then would like you all to share.
