Best 'Chew Toy' for Labs
As we all know Labs love to chew. Bubba, at nearly 15 months old is a chewing machine!
Not only does he chew up various stuffed doggie toys but also computer cables, lamp cords, wooden chair legs and rungs, railing balusters, door casings, shoes, socks, Kleenex tissue and toilet paper. He just loves to nibble on our large area rug and for desert he cleans out the kitties' litterbox of those round brown little morsels. (HOW GROSS)
Well we heard about a chew toy called 'Extreme Kong Dog Toy' which we purchased through my Internet Mall (Works best with Internet Explorer) at Petco.com
, (just put 'Kong' in the search box) it was 18.00 plus shipping but worth every penny. We have had it for about 4 months and it's still in one piece. Just a few tooth marks. I put a little peanut butter inside through the hole on the bottom and it will keep him busy for about a half hour. Its shaped light three balls on on top of the other each one a little smaller and all in one piece to form a sort of a pyramid. If I add a marshmallow in the very tip, it will give about 45 minutes of excitement. He loves his peanut butter!
Now they are not just for Labs and they come in medium, large, x-large and xx- large. So even a Poodle would get enjoyment out of the small size and the price varies with the size.
So folks, keep your dog busy and he'll stay out of trouble.
