Need some help with

Need advise on "SEO" from our loyal members.
As some of the members know l decide to go back to work in the Corp. world not the smartest move but l did it anyhow. For my own personnal reason, l got my first pay cheque today and l almost had a heart attack, never even knew or though about how many deduction one gets working on his pay cheques. I was just use to invoicing my client period and looking after my own deductions.
Ok back to my problem, never provide advise in the Corp world cause what happens if they like it guess what you have another amount of work to handle. Totally forgot about that. Well l decide to review there websites and notice how weak they were when it came to having there site "SEO".
So my question to all members who have an understanding in SEO is.
-What is the most important script of the site is it key words, what makes a site "SEO"?
-What areas will provide search engines to pick up your site, when a search is being done?
-How many Key words should you use in your website?
-Metal tags, how important are they to your site?
-How do you get search engines to crawl your site?
-Pay per clicks, how do you use them to your advantage?
When l review the source in our site l notice only 10 key words, mispelled words, and a lot of other things that made no sense.
I have answers for most of them but l want to be well prepared for this meeting coming up next week with the builders of our site.
So if you can provide me information and what l should have; l would greatly appreciate it. Look forward to reading your comments on here. Why this site is so great is cause the members do really help one another and l think we can all learn from this blog......
I had to ask the owner how much did he pay to have his site done, l knew it was a lot, don't get me wrong it's a great site but not getting the hits they should be, l review our competition and they are we a head in this department..But l hope to have this all turn around and make us climb up to the top of the search engines.

Thank you Jeff for that information, l guess l have the weekend to work on it l did manage to get a lot of accomplished today............Hard on the eyes let me tell you, too much fine detail but in the end it is how you get results Labour of love as l like to call it............

Hi Joseph,
The number of Keywords can be as many as you like. It mainly depends on what your site is promoting or focused on. Just make sure they are relative to the site. You wouldn't want to put in Cake Mix as a keyword if you don't cover that anywhere in the site. There are some great keyword search tools available (and yes I do have a couple for sale on my sites), CB Text ads has a great keyword search tool in it, I don't promote it because of the problem with getting it to run on XP-SP2, (

Question for you HOW MANY KEY WORDS SHOULD I HAVE ON MY SITE, i hear the more the better, what are your thoughs on this.

There are lots of misspelled words script available that will search for the true word and then do some minor key replacements, things like switch an a for an s or an i for an o. BTW, this is a great way to find some great deals on ebay too! There are a couple tools available just for ebay to search for auctions that have spelling errors in them, you find them and the bids can be 1/10 of the other auctions! Misspelled words are entered on purpose Reason is simple

Should "Meta tags"
