Couponing 101
Here are some tips
1. Cut all coupons, not just the ones you think you will use. Here is an example why, This week at Krogers ensure single serve is on sale for $1.29, I have a coupon for $1.00 off, after purchase a coupon comes out of the register for $1.00 of your next shopping order. You see I just made $.61 on something I do not normally buy.
2. The next thing I am going to suggest may be too extreme for some, and yes people make comments and are fascinated by it. I get an old school notebook with, actually I have 2. The 1 st one has food and the second is non foods. Get baseball card collector pages at Walmart. They are kind of like wallet size photo pages. Begin to organize your coupons in these. I prefer to organize mine by grocery isles, for example dairy, biscuits, and ready made cookie dough in one section, then cleaners in another.
3. Get more than one coupon section, get them from other family members. Sometimes I buy 2 sunday papers
.4. Start scanning your ads for things that are on sale that you have coupons for.
5.Keep an eye on prices of things you normally buy. Something could be advertised on sale, and really be only a few cents off or thier normal price.
6. Join a coupon forum.
7. Instead of buying larger off brand items. Buy smaller name brand with your coupons, it is cheaper.
8. Stockpile- Stock up when prices are down. For example during the 4th of July season there winds up being tons of free catchup, mustard, BBQ sauce deals. Inthe winter these same items are like $2.69.
9. Know your favorite stores coupon policy. If you are to embarrassed to ask call them up and ask. For example my local Kroger only doubles 2 alike coupons.
10. Start shopping a drug store Walgreen's, Rite Aid, or CVS. They all have rebate systems and because of drugstores I never pay for Over the counter medications, vitamins, tooth pastes, razors, shampoo, and get really cheap cleaners, too.
Before I send you to a coupon forum I am going to cover some coupon jargin.
Catalina- A coupon that spits out at the register, after purchasing something.
RR- Register Rewards same as a Catalina really.
Blinky- Coupon machines in the aisle ways of grocery stores.
FAR- Free After Rebate
OYNO- On your next order.
B1G1- Buy 1 Get 1
Peelie- Coupons that peel off of packages
Here is my favorite coupon forum, and no it is not a referral link, and I get nothing to send you there.
Http://www.hotcouponworld.com You can search buy the stores you normally frequent.
Here is another place I am going to recommend as it was invaluable last holiday season. This is like a coupon board for all of the big box retailers and online deals. I have signed up to get the 3 hour forum board updates. It is really cool to see bargains on these things as the season nears I will know what is a good deal and what is not. They figure out how to use coupon codes combined with rebates, and half off sales on things like cameras, laptops, bras, blankets, any thing and everything. There will be discussions later in the season like the best low cost laptop etc...
I hope this was informative and you can save a bunch of money.

Wow, that is great info to share with other readers! :)
Here's something that you might already have, but I'm going to share it with you just in case:
There are no affiliate programs for these programs, and I make no money for sharing them. I just enjoy helping others whenever I can.... Cheers! :)

Thanks Penny for stopping by. I thought it was a decent article, too. But I think I went way off topic on this one, lol. I am glad someone read it, too bad it is not more useful to you.
