How I Never Gave Up
I've been selling online for about 5 years. Some months weren't all that good, some were decent. I was told I'd never make money from my website, or amount to anything; mostly from people who weren't making money themselves, who only wanted to make themselves look good, and attempt to degrade me. Well, I can now say to those people, it only made me stronger and look at me now. I am now starting to see real results from my years of sticking with it, and not giving up. I just took on a new customer from Canada, that is going to be a huge account. It was a while coming, but it's finalized and I just got the go ahead on their account. What I want to say to those who think their boat will never come in, NEVER give up. There will be plenty of people trying to destroy your dream and if you allow them to get to you, you will surely fail. But if you persist, and work it, nobody can destroy that hard work. I'm living proof that persistence DOES pay off. I work on my website a little each day. I look for ways to market it; talk to new people; pass out business cards, flyers, post in forums, call in on local businesses, newspaper ads, email signatures, bumper stickers on my car, anything that comes to mind. I'm always reading other forums and wherever else I can research ideas.
If anyone has other ideas they wish to share, please do so. And visit my website at www.lucysbazaar.com if you need Christmas ideas and don't know what to get someone. I'd love to help you find that perfect gift. And for those in the military or family members in the military, check out the military Christmas ornaments; each of the armed forces. I sold a few of these to the Family Support Division in my area via the National Guard. I'm also in contact with several VA homes here as well for their residents. Like I said, there is always a new avenue to venture down and find new prospects.
