SETTING UP BIGGER GOALS :

I love watching Tiger Woods play golf.

I'm not alone. Millions of others do as well.

As I was watching him this Sunday, win his 13th Major golf
championship, a success 'insight' hit me and I wanted to
share it with you because it can help you.

Before I move forward, let me say this.

When you study Tiger Woods' golf career, you study GREATNESS.

Plain and simple.

Tiger is one of the greatest examples of athletic greatness
in the last 100 years. Study him.

So back to my insight this past Sunday. It's subtle, but it's powerful. Very.

For those who don't know Tiger's background, let me share with you this.

Since he was young, Tiger has had ONE big golf GOAL. To win
18 'Major' (Majors = the top golf tournaments each year)
championships and pass Jack Nicklaus's record of 17.

Tiger's goal is to be the best golfer ever. To reach that
goal he needs 18 championships, he has 13 now.

Watch this.

EVERYBODY who watches golf, even recreationally, KNOWS what
Tiger Woods' main GOAL is.

It's not to just make a fortune, which he has. His main athletic goal is to win 18 championships.

Now...

Here's the distinction:

Tiger's peers all know he's the best.

Here's some of the other players name.

Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson, David Duval, VJ Singh.

They're all very good golfers...But what are their GOALS...

No one knows.

Sure, they have goals, but is their goal to be the best ever.

Is their goal to beat Jack Nicklaus' record?

Think about it.

This makes Tiger raise his STANDARDS.

He raises his standards. He destroys his competition and

Think opposite here.

Where would Tiger Woods be today without that big goal
driving him for the last 15 years? Would we even know his
name?

You will NEVER, NEVER, read a biography on success without
reading and seeing the burning desire of that person rip
off the pages.

Ask yourself:

Do I have a big LIFE goal that I'm aiming for? If not, are
you committed to creating one?

My BIG goal is to positively influence at least 50 million
people in my life.

Most people never activate their desire, they never let
their inner flame burn.

Not you. Stir up your desire. Create your goals. Take
action.

Be Like Tiger. Be great. That's it.
