Ways to Promote your Art on APSense
How can I use APSense for my art business? I am a bit overwhelmed...

I helped install an Ansell Adams exhibition in a gallery in Moscow, Idaho quite a few
years ago when I was at college. That's in the real world and although it is difficult to
promote any business there is a simplicity to it if you have a gallery to walk into. Your
Art is seen and hopefully sales are made (if the works are for sale. ...Ansell Adams photos weren't ... just on loan from another gallery!)
I know that online Galleries are prevalent today and you can create your own with most
of the website tools if you take the time to figure out how it's done... I've seen them even
on geocities and other sites. That would be the first major step. Getting your art works
online where they can be seen. Photograph and upload and add them to a website of
your own design and then when that is done...there is the key question: How can I use
APSense for my art business? I am a bit overwhelmed... ...and one that is no
doubt overlooked.
The primary resource you have for your art works to be seen here is to post them
individually on your blog in a way that would have your name and website covering
a portion of the image so that not just anyone can copy and paste it to their own
site to be used for their own purposes. That would have to be done on your computer
as well. Also once you have your images hosted on another server via your own
website then you can use the UBB code to show an image/pic even in Groups.
Start a Group all about Art. What is Art? Are you open to answering questions about
how and why you create the art that you do? That would also ennable you to network
in ways that you meet the people here who have an inerest in art.
You've already begun this by posing the question on how to use APSense to promote
yours or anyone's art or crafts.
The best way to become visible is to be seen! Post blogs and create groups and join
groups and invite friends or the people here at apsense to be your friend/contact and
it will take some time but before you know it you will be more familiar with what works
here and I have a suspicion that the owners might be thinking of ways to cater to
a variety of member's needs when it comes to self-promotion, clubs,
building friendships, or just plain having fun online within your social network.

Beth is right. The key to it is your ability to link up with the art format picture, graphic to your own website for sale after viewing here at Apsense.
With any website each page will have a URL in the browser window. That is the key to entry to your viewing site.
I have an very good example and will list it here among my websites so that you can see what I and Beth are saying. I have an art site myself.
