Tips on How to sell and advertise Arts and Crafts
One of the most difficult tasks for creative people, whether they are artists, crafters, photographers or writers is selling their work.
Creative ability does not necessarily grant us with the ability to sell or publicize.
On the Artist and Artisans Place Group - I have introduced a topic dealing with tips and suggestions on the how and the where to sell our work.
This will build up with suggestions that can be added to be all members. It will then become a useful reference Group for us all.
Come and post your tips here:!!

Very impressive and informative. There are so many people worldwide who are highly talented but need ways in which to showcase it to the public.

Hi Jenny,
I think you're right about the camera - have been thinking about getting
a new one with close-up capability. The tripod would probably be
very handy too. :-)
Thanks
Jean

Hi Jean,
The secret is to have a camera with a c¡good macro /close up facility. Less than 5 cm (2 inches?) and to have a very steady hand .
if you dont have a steady hand (and I certainly dont) try using a tripod. That way there is no wobbly problem and it is easier to set the distance.
Hope this helps

One of the hardest things to do is getting decent photos of your craftwork
for the net. At least it is for me. Just cannot take a good close up of
my jewellery.
Thanks for posting this resource.
