I was in so many programs that I didn't even know my login information for many of them. I looked at many of them 5 years later and they were not even in existence anymore and my minimum payment was not reached so I lost whatever commission that I had. I built a downline of 90 members and I am making money finally. I found that if you talk to people about 1 out of 10 will join your program. First I send an email introducing myself then they request more information so that I don't spam them. Whenever someone joins my program I email a welcome email to them and from time to time I email them and encourage them. I have done quite well retaining most of the affiliates.
