Figuring out how to make a few bucks on the internet? Let me share with you what I have learned to do to make GPT sites a fun, quick and profitable way to make money online.  First off, What Is a GPT site? A GPT site stands for "Get Paid To". At a GPT Site,  you simply complete free offers and get paid by them for completing these offers. They also offer "Free Trial Offers", which pay significantly higher than the 100% Free offers, however, you will need a credit card to join for a specific amount of time, and you'll need to be sure, that if the offer is not right for you, you cancel you're free trial before you're free membership expires. There are generally no fees involved with joining a GPT site, the sites are 100% free to join. The signup process is simple also, just fill out you're name, address and phone number and you are set to go. The address is required because they mail you a check monthly, as long as you have earned the minimum payout. GPT sites provide 100% free offers ranging from $.40 to $1.00 on average, however, I have seen higher and have done one that had an $8.00 payout. The cell phone/ringtone offers do pay higher, however, if doing these, be sure to read the fine print on those. Most of them will bill you're cell phone carrier a monthly fee. I have not done a cell phone offer and have yet to input my cell phone number on any offer or survey.

There are a few things that I would suggest prior to starting your first free offer.

1) Get yourself a totally brand new email address for these surveys only. You can go to Hotmail, Yahoo, gmail etc., just be sure you do this. Once these companies have you're email address, you WILL receive spam, and LOTS of it. Getting a separate account for surveys only, insures that you're main email address will stay free and clear for friends/family and personal use.

 2) I would also suggest you set up a free private phone number at privatephone.com (or a similar site). You will need to enter you're phone number on some of the offers. When companies call you're free private phone, they will be greeted with you're voicemail, where they can leave you a message. You can listen to the message, and then decide if you would like to call back. This keeps you're home line just that, you're HOME line.

3) Be sure that after doing each survey/offer, you clear out all cookies. Cookies are little pieces of tracking information that websites like to put on your computer. Many people already have their computers set to not accept cookies, however, some do and it's always best to delete those before beginning you're next offer/survey. If using Firefox: Click Tools/Options/privacy tab/show cookies/remove. If using IE: Click Tools/Internet Options/Browsing History/Delete.

4) Another great program to download is called Roboform. Once installed, you fill in all you're information (name, address, phone number etc.). When completing an offer, and that offer requests this information, all you need to do is click one button and Roboform will fill in the required information. No need to keep retyping your address for each new offer.

Completing offers is simple. You click on the offer you are interested in doing. The offer will open up in a separate window or tab, complete the offer, then return to the gpt website and click the "submit" button (some say "done"). It will then move to your pending offers" list. Once the offer is confirmed, it will move to you're completed offers list and you will see you're earnings increase. You can also be notified by email whenever an offer has been confirmed. Some offers at GPT sites will say to just complete the first two pages, other offers you continue until it says "Congratulations....." or similar wording. Most GPT sites forums are filled with more tips to help you complete surveys and offers, and if you have any questions regarding anything, there are many folks there who are willing to help and answer you're questions.

The above is mainly about filling out the 100% free offers, however, the trial offers are similar. You just need a credit card for those offers and mainly you are joining or signing up for a specific trial period. Be sure to read exactly what it is you are signing up for, make note of any passwords or usernames you used while signing up, write down phone numbers incase you need to contact them to cancel or if you have questions, and keep track of how long the trial is for. Also note the date you are doing this offer. If you have no credit card, a visa gift card works too. I would even suggest going that route vs. using you're regular visa card. Visit you're local store (Wal-Mart, Walgreens etc.) and purchase a pre-paid Visa or MasterCard. You can put $20 on the card, but just be sure to not go over the amount you have on the card. Most GPT sites post new offers weekly, so there is always something for you to click on and participate in.

I will leave you with a link to my personal website, which will have links to my favorite GPT sites and a link to Payment Proofs, where I show you that they really do pay!
