After Mom got home following her cancer surgery several years ago, I closed my metalsmithing business to care for her. Money was short and Angel Food Ministries played a vital roll in helping us stretch our funds and still get good food to eat.
Later, when our situation improved, we stopped buying from them and hope that someone else, with more need than we have, has taken the opportunity that Angel Food Ministries provides.
Please note, in case I haven't made it clear, Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization with thousands of volunteers across the country providing the labor to make it work.
Do you know someone in your community that needs inexpensive food? Now you know where to find a group of people already providing a very necessary service. Spread the word where you live.
