Where do you want to be a year, five years, or ten years from now? How do you plan to reach your goals?

I know that these questions are elementary in that you have probably heard them before, but instead of answering off the top of your head, put some thought into it.

Most people who go into business for themselves do it for a better quality of life and spending more time with the ones they love rather than just getting rich to be some power hungry jerk. The majority of people are good people who really want to make the world a better place.

I am not what I would consider a religious person by any means, but I do believe in the Almighty God and I am a man of faith.

Here is the way that I see it.

God gives you the desire to accomplish whatever it is that you are supposed to do, but He isn't going to make you do anything. You have desires to achieve your goals for a reason. The strength to persevere through the rough times is a gift that the Creator has bestowed upon those who really want to reach their goals. After all, like I said, you don't have the desire for no reason at all. God has a plan for your life.

At the same time, anything that is worth while is not going to be easy. The obstacles we face mold us into what we will ultimately become. if we are focused on the outcome, rather than the circumstance they will teach us. If we focus on the negativity of a current circumstance rather than the promised outcome these obstacles will make us stagnant.

Instead of looking at an obstacle or a perceived failure, take action. Look at whatever is standing in your way and figure out a way to go around it. Make the changes necessary and move on. If you hit another obstacle, do the same thing until you reach the pinnacle of your success.

Marketing on the Internet is not easy by any means. There is a lot of competition out there. At the same time, the Future of Commerce is E Commerce. Keep in mind that the internet is still in its infancy. Right now it is in its early teenage years but as it grows, if you position yourself now, you will grow with it.

Think back to the early 80's. I was a child so I don't remember much about that period of time, but I remember enough to know that the Internet the way it is today would have been unheard of. Now imagine what the Internet itself will be like twenty years from now. It is next to impossible to imagine because technology is moving at light speed.

My point is this. If you are experiencing difficulty making any real income on the Internet, hang in there. You know the possibilities are endless because of the way the Internet is set up. I have been in that position. I marketed online for two years before I even made enough money to cover my hosting accounts.

I haven't reached my pinnacle of success but I am well on my way to doing just that. Take your own life experiences combined with the knowledge you have and build a profitable business off of what you know. You are unique! and there are people who want to acquire the knowledge that you have.

Most importantly, don't give up because the Internet is the Future of Commerce. You will eventually make it if you keep pressing towards the mark.

People say that the Internet boom is over, but I know that they are wrong. The internet is like the Real Estate market. It has highs and lows, but I can guarantee it is on its way back up. Buy your little piece of real estate and watch its value grow.
