A story about one of my Pets

by Margaret Elmendorf

This is a story about a little kitten that was a huge help to me. One night after a chemo treatment, I ws sitting on my bed feeling sorry for myself, and I thought to myself, wouldn't it be great to have a little kitten to cheer up myself.
So the next morning, believe it or not, a tiny kitten went charging past me when I was at my horse barn. She kept on going ninety miles an hour, and was so tiny, she fit thru  the chain link fence.
So, when she stopped at a buliding right outside my fence, she was mewing like crazy, so I mewed back at her to see if she would stay put. And she did. We had a long conversation, and then I got her some food, and to make a long story short, she stayed and is still here. Her name is MewMew and has grown up to be a beautiful long haired cat with tons of personality.

Very touching story.

Hope the treatments are finally over with I know all about them. I am in my 11th year Cancer free

Both chemo and radiation. Was the longest year of my entire life. The only thing I enjoyed was not having to shave during chemo Other than that well we know what
I mean

Stay strong and positive
