Success Stories in Vitamark
Nancy and I are originally from Kansas City, MO. I owned a property and casualty insurance agency for 21 years. Nancy was a Psychologist in private practice. We both saw the trends in our industries and realized we needed to make a change. I had been dabbling in network marketing for some time, but had not taken it seriously. I finally realized that networking was the best thing to get us to where we wanted to go.
Finding The Right Company
As I looked for the best company, I met our current sponsor, Michael Dlouhy. We were both in another company at the time and Michael was the new kid on the block. We were at a company conference and were asked how many business centers we could build in the next year and he said ten. No one had ever done that. It took about six months and he was there. I realized he must know something that I didn’t.
I started working with him and he told me that he was going to another company. I didn’t have to think twice. I told him if he was going, I wanted to follow him. This led us to Vitamark.
The best advice that I can give to anyone is that when it comes to being successful, “Work harder on yourself than you do on your business.†You have to develop into a leader so people will follow and duplicate what you do. Then work the systems your upline leaders are using successfully. Study leaders in the industry who are successful and still building their business and see what they’re doing. Learn from them. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel.
The Learning Curve
The road to the top has not been smooth. There have been bumps along the way. I found I had to deal with a lot of negative “mind chatterâ€. I had to get to a point where I believed I could have success and that I deserved success. There is a price to pay for success and we found that until we were willing to pay that price, nothing would happen. But boy, once we caught the vision, everything has changed.
Vitamark has changed our lives. When I owned an insurance agency, I was chained to it. It owned me I did not own it. Now, Nancy and I are able to work together as a team from home. We’re achieving a lifestyle few ever achieve. We have the freedom to come and go as we please and we are able to choose who we spend our time with. We love to see people get life-changing results with Vitamark products. We also love seeing our downline grow in their businesses and in their personal lives. Knowing we have a small part in that means everything to us.
Vitamark has the Ultimate in support. We have never seen anything like it in the other companies we’ve been affiliated with. This company gives all of us the tools we need to become successful. Also, our upline team is always available to help. When we joined, we were given the contact information of our upline leaders all the way to the president of the company. We can call any of them and they are ready to help. Where can you find a company where the CEO is out on the field helping you build your business and doing meetings in your town? Some Good Advice
If I could spend 5 minutes with a new affiliate and offer them advice, I would tell them that the will to win is the most important factor in their success. Then I would recommend they send a letter to their warm market with some type of product information. Don’t try to recruit them. Just ask them to pass the information on to anyone they might know who could benefit from Vitmark’s life changing products. I would then advise them to talk with their upline leaders regarding what they’re doing that’s working for them. It’s important not to reinvent the wheel. Use what’s working. Learn to apply the slight edge principle. Work your business consistently every day and over time the results will astound you.
A Dream Coming True
Our dream with Vitamark is to become the best that we can possibly be. We want to help as many people as we can to earn $10,000 a month. We also want to give a very large sum of money to Calvary Bible College, (my alma mater) and Focus on the Family ministries. Those are just a couple of our dreams. We have many others and they are written down. We are looking forward to continuing our climb to the top and becoming Presidential. One of my mentors once said not to focus on the money, but rather focus on the person you can become, and the money will follow. We live by that principle. Another way to put this is... The 3 main benefits of network marketing are: 1). The person you become, 2). The friendships you develop, 3). The money. All in that order.
The message I share with the Vitamark family is “Don’t give up on your dreamsâ€. You are in a wonderful company where people from corporate down care about you and want to see you succeed.
