Do you really see the potential in having a home based business, and want to be financially independent, but things just aren't going the way you expected?
If so, you definitely aren't alone! There really aren't many "overnight successes" in network marketing or MLM. In most cases it takes time and especially perserverance.
If you are one of those people that hasn't yet experienced the kind of success you would like, then here are some suggestions for you.
Find out which leaders in your company have achieved success and seek them out. A successful person in network marketing usually is always willing to tell others what they did to achieve that. The best way to become successful is to find out what other successful people are doing and then do the same.
Are you really treating your business like a business, and not a hobby? By that I mean are you setting aside a certain number of hours each day (or 4 or 5 days a week) to devote to your business? These should be income producing activities, such as advertising, doing follow up, etc. Listening to conference calls and getting training is important also, but remember you don't actually make any money unless you bring in new customers or business builders.
If you currently have a full time job, then of course you wont have as much time as someone who isn't working. However, spending 2 quality hours 5 days a week will get you further than several hours each day doing activities that don't actually result in new people joining your business.
Although I suggest consistently spending a certain amount of time on a regular basis working on your business it is important also to spend some leisure time as well. Many marketers don't work their businesses on weekends. Find whatever days and times work best for you, be consistent about it, but be sure to take some time off as well.
What systems and tools does your company recommend? What are the leaders of your company using? Don't try and reinvent the wheel. Again find out what others who are achieving the results you desire are using and do as they do.
If you still aren't getting the results you desire then it might be the right time to consider another opportunity. Most people will eventually leave jobs they aren't satisfied with eventually and find another, and it is much the same with network marketing. Many networkers join more than one company before they find the one that is the right one for them.
Having the right mentors, as well as a system that can be easily duplicated, is one of the keys to success.

Very well put Joanne.
Frustration is par for the course with many network marketing 'opportunities' - some
of them are only opportunities for the person who owns them.
Regular work on your business is the most important thing you can do - it's no good
just promoting it in the TE's and hoping for sales, you have to get out there and get
branded.
