Finding Your Purpose and Living it with Passion

Do you wake up in the morning full of excitement… can't wait to get your day started? Or do you dread going to a job or a business you absolutely hate? If your job or your business is sapping the life out of you, then it is time to reassess your entire life.
I remember.......
....just 3 years ago I was inching my way through the usual Washington DC rush hour traffic saying to myself "There has to be a better way to make a living. I just don't want to do this anymore....but what alternatives do I have?". It was Monday morning and all the joyful memories of the weekend had been quickly replaced with the reality of fighting daily traffic to get to a job that I absolutely had no passion for.
The demoralizing effects of doing work that I hated just for the money had finally taken its toll on me and I could no longer hide my frustration with my lack of job fulfillment. My health began to suffer under the stress of working long grueling hours in an environment that no longer nourished my soul. At 38 years of age I felt cheated, angry, tired and disheartened.
Then, a remarkable thing happened that completely changed my life forever....
I was introduced to Phil Laut & Andy Fuehl's book "Wealth Without A Job...The Entrepreneur's Guide to Freedom and Security Beyond the 9 to 5 Lifestyle." The first paragraph stopped me in my tracks.....

I couldn't put the book down.... the more I read the more I felt empowered. I felt relieved, as if a big weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I knew from that moment onward that my life was about to be transformed dramatically. Even though I didn't have a clue what I was going to do but I knew I was ready for a challenge and a change.
I was tired of building someone else's dream and not being in control of my own future.
The problem... I was not about to start over AGAIN working for someone else. My passion and love of Internet marketing was calling again but this time louder than before. I listened, I paid attention and today I’m living my dream as a successful Internet marketer and I haven’t looked back.
If you feel like an old dream is stirring and just won’t go away, then it’s time to discover the real you and pursue your calling.
Finding Your Passion Is The Key To Success
Do you sometimes question where your life is headed? You are not alone. Unfortunately, the majority of workers today are unhappy in their jobs. Sometimes we find ourselves climbing the ladder of success, only to find that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.
Pursuing your passion represents a new beginning, renewed commitment and focused energy. It is the letting go of the old and moving on to something new. It is recreating, recommitting and rediscovering our selves. It is a time for exploring new possibilities, creating new opportunities and preparing for a wonderful, dynamic, successful future.
You can discover your purpose and live it with passion and power, but first you have to examine your life and yourself. Spend some quiet time thinking about what it is you want from life. Then you must ask some very hard questions. Why am I here? What am I supposed to do? What is the purpose for my life? Am I living that purpose?
To help identify your gifts and find your purpose:
1. What am I good at?
2. What are my greatest talents?
3. What do I love to do?
4. What gives me the greatest joy?
5. What is unique about me?
6. What do I want to accomplish before I die?
7. If I could have any kind of job, what would it be?
For those of you who have discovered your purpose and are living it, I congratulate you for not settling, and pursuing your passion.

Whether you're selling life insurance, designing buildings, managing a company, writing a book, marketing new products or cutting hair, find the passion and excitement in it. If you can, you will succeed like you never have before. Follow your dream. Trust your instincts. Find that something you can believe in passionately and give it your all. Do what you love; the money will follow.
