Online Parties!
You have never heard of an online party? Well, then I guess I am not doing my job very well. Right now, I can find an online party just about everyday of the week.
Its a home party without cleaning your house, your guests meet in a chat room, play games, meet new people, have lots of fun and either build your team or make a sale, sometimes even both.
The challenge to an online party it seems is actually keeping the attention of the people in the room with you, they could be off checking thier email, adding products to thier website, posting messages on Apsense, or who knows what else they may be doing.
You need to give the crowd something to be anticipated by. Play a game and keep thier attention.
Here is what I have been trying to keep participation at a maximum -
The question game keeps partygoers on your site to look for answers, but why not extend that game? Instead of saving the game for the last 10 minutes play during your whole time slot.
Every person in the room receives one point for every question answered right, but only thier first answer counts. Start with a question, talk about your specials, ask a question, talk about recruiting, ask if anyone has questions, ask a question. Ask a final question in which only the first person can receive points if you need a tiebreaker.
Do you have a favorite game that you like to use?
