Programs or People?
Hi.
My name's Lisa Sorensen and I've been successfully marketing online for about nine years.
I've seen my share of failure, fraud, and freaks. The three f's,lol.
There's some in every bunch, it doesn't matter what program type
you're involved in. Some people will do anything to make a dime.
Because I own a marketing site MaxAffiliate.com (gratuitous plug, hehe),
I get asked to join a lot of my member's programs. I also get asked to review
the program, sort of give it the once over and let them know what I think.
Well, this is what I've come up with. And, it may shock you.
I'm not even going to tell you that the program(s) I'm currently
involved in are the best.
There are a lot of really, really good programs/business opps
out there. In fact, most of them are wonderful. They have great
products that produce results, some of them bring you instant
cash, while others sell advertising. They're all good.
The problem, sad to say, is the people.
People fail at good programs. Why? Here's why:
1. They expect too much for too little.
2. They join under someone who knows less than they do
about marketing.
3. They give up too soon. They don't give it a fair shake.
As for the second reason above, I'm not trying to put down
newbies. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when you join
a program, join under someone who can teach you something,
or someone who is actively learning all they can to get ahead,
or learning what it takes to advertise and sell the program.
It is so important to carefully choose who you join with.
I can't stress this enough!
After nine years I'm still learning. I try to network with people
who know more than I do and I become a "sponge" of sorts.
Soaking up all the info I can and using it to the best of my ability
to improve my business and/or response.
This is what you do:
1. Find someone to join with that is looking/learning.
Not someone who is "begging" you to join or trying
to fill your head full of hype.
2. Network with people who know more than you and are
willing to teach and/or mentor you.
If you're on the other side of this, the mentor, the searcher,
make your contacts aware of this. They'll signup under you
every time. Why? Because you will be the leader that they want to follow.
It's all about learning and applying. Pick a program or business
that you can feel good about and go for it!
You can and do deserve success, so grab it!

Great Article
I have alot of affiliate programs
Some good some ok
It all depends with the people usually
you find a few good ones and they stick together with
you through all your programs. Usually if someone gains your trust
that helps.
Just my thoughts.

Building relationships, online or off, is key to building a healthy profitable business. Associating yourself with those that "know", that can mentor, will only help you in the long run no matter what you are trying to accomplish in life.
