My first party was 6/3/04, several times I pondered changing the date but I stuck with it. This day would have been my Father's 64th Birthday and I felt it best to be busy and spend time with family and friends.
You see my Father died on 11/2/01 and my Brother died 3 months later on 2/4/02. During both of my losses I was pregnant with my Daughter, she was born 6/7/02. To make a long story short, I fell into a low time, it was just easier to stay home, my day job allowed me to work from home, so if I didn't have to go out, I did not. Of course I did what I had to do, I took care of my Daughter and family but looking back I let life pass me by for 2 years without really living. The only things keeping me going were my Daughter, Kara, she is the light of my life, and my Husband, Rob, he is my rock.
Then on that fateful day 6/3/04, I found the spark I needed to get myself back into life 100%. This company has high quality products I take pride in representing. The people are wonderful, strong, and empowered, we are like a family! We support, respect, and care for each other. I am now out of the house for meetings, trainings, shows, and classes....or just to have fun!
I was able to tell my Husband "it's ok to get a day job again" and then to say "leave that job, it's no good" and let him take 2 months to find a better job. Then in April 2005, I cut back my hours at my corporate day job and concentrate on what I love doing....helping others. Then on 12/28/2005, I was able to leave my day job after 15 years of excellent service, to devote myself full time to this awesome opportunity!!!! My corporate job turned on me, I was not going to take unfair treatment....Thank God for my "plan B"!!!! Without my "plan B" I would never have been able to stand up for myself and leave with my dignity and integrity uncompromised!

We had are second child November 17th, 2006!!!! Lela Renee .......She is beautiful and healthy! Now I can stay home and raise my girls while working my Arbonne bussiness!!

I enjoyed reading about your taking control of your life after
your losses, my sympathies on the loss of your father and brother...
but sounds like you and your husband have a lovely family and
