Why do people fail at affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing has been on internet for quite some time already and thousands of people around the world are making their income full time from their affiliate marketing business. But why are there so many people fails in their affiliate marketing business? This article will list the 4 reasons why.
1. The #1 reason is they do not treat affiliate marketing as a real business. This is important because if you do not treat it like your own real business, you will not be serious about it. Most of them treat it as a way to make quick buck which is totally not true.
2. The #2 reason is that they are not determined and patience enough. Affiliate marketing is like any other real business, it will require your time and effort to grow it. There will be times when you will face obstacles and problems. If you are not determining enough, you will just give up.
3. The #3 reason is that some people think that by just putting 20 links to their own website, the traffic will come and they will make sales. Affiliate marketing will requires some work from you. There is no short cut to success in affiliate marketing. You will have to take action consistently to achieve your affiliate success.
4. The #4 reason is they do not build their own list. This is the mistake which as affiliates should totally avoid. If you do not have your own list, you will not have a long term business. There is always a saying that says the money is in the list.
These are the 4 reasons why people fail in their affiliate marketing business. It is important to learn from people the mistakes that they have make before and make sure that you do not repeat it.
When you are willing to learn, you will be wasting less of your time on making mistakes and more of your time doing productive things that will helps to grow your affiliate marketing business.
