Wordpress Web Host

As you can tell I’ve switched my blog from a Drupal site to Wordpress. (if you’re reading this in a reader, you should check out the site and let me know what you think) Wordpress is really made for blogging and Drupal is a website content management system. I’ve actually steered away from Drupal all together and have moved nearly all of my sites over to Joomla. This may be over the heads of many of you so I’ll spare you the technical mumbo jumbo that goes along with it all. The thing is, I’ve been asked a few times what I use, and how I use it and what website host I’m using.

For 99% of all of my websites, I’m using HouseOfStorage.com as my web hosting provider. It’s basically a company made for people who know what their doing and don’t need support. Because of this, their prices are pretty low! The thing I love the most about HouseOfStorage.com is they have an awesome control panel and automatically installs Joomla or Wordpress or any number of website programs, like message boards, photo galleries, shopping cart, help desk stuff. I have only used a few from the list.

If you’re going to need help installing things or using FTP, I’d like to suggest HostGator.com. I’m the webmaster of a website, not owned by me, which is hosted at HostGator. They are pretty much the same as in hosting companies with the automatic program loader. The biggest difference is that HostGator costs more than HouseOfStorage.com and offers more support.

That’s it for now, Next will be more about applying the Law of Attraction to your business.
