I wasn't there at bedtime to tuck you gently in and meet your sleepy little gaze and share the love within.
To a circus I never took you or shared popcorn at the zoo. Eating together a box of popcorn small treasures we never knew.
One day your mind will ponder and there'll be questions too, as to why I seemed to wander and could not remain with you.
Love, the intangible force which transcends the understanding, we dare, will help you to know my leaving was because, I really care.
