David (Dave) Cottrell lives in Gibsons, British Columbia, a small coastal town nestled against the towering hills and mountains of the Sunshine Coast. Gibsons is famous for "The Beachcombers," a long running CBC TV drama, and "Needful Things", a Stephen King thriller.

He has been involved in Network marketing for over 25 years, since initially joining one of the largest MLM companies in the world in 1978, shortly after marrying the love of his life, Kathy.

That first experience in Network marketing didn't last. But it did spark a life-long interest that flared to life again in 1998, when Dave bought his first computer and went online. Since then, he has built many websites from scratch (he prefers to work with raw HTML code in a text editor), and has recently seen one of his latest websites soar to the top 10% of most visited sites on the net.
