Since my blog costs me $1 a month to host a free installation of Wordpress and less than $1 a month to register the domain name, I would say anyone who claims to be an Internet Marketer without one, is only pretending.

Depends on what kind of niche you are in Netra. My blog is about sharing marketing tips.

I also have a section in my blog about me. When someone is deciding whether to be my partner or not I send them to my blog so they can learn more about me.

Outside of that I also promote products that will help others. I only promote products that I have used myself and know work.

It all comes back to people getting to know, like and trust you :)

For self and all of our clients, regardless their niches The Blog/Website has become the HUB of all Internet Business activity with traffic pouring in from carefully designed Social Media campaigns.
Several have found the combination of the main Site and a Curated site along with a Networked Blog has assured eager traffic willing to do business.
A few brave business owners also have their Personal Blog where their customer get to know them personally!
The customers enjoy the opportunity to contact personally with the driving force of the business.
Amazing what publishing your private number can do for sales and profit.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with this group Chuck. I agree with you on many points. I believe that having a blog is like having a virtual "store" where you can meet and greet people.

I have a personal blog that I send people to so they can learn more about me and my services. This is where most of my leads that contact me directly come from :)
