Just wondering how many leads people are getting from PPC ads? In my experience they are not as effective as they have been in the past.

Honestly I think that the problem is you have to keep your traffic sources fresh. If you were buying from a PPC source last year, it doesn't mean the same source will be worth anything this year.

Google, facebook, linkedin, twitter, and the likes all have great lead generation rate from PPC advertising.

I agree with Bruce here about keeping your traffic sources fresh.

I was "slapped" by Google a few years ago and that forced me to start looking for new methods to advertise my biz. The best thing that could have happened to me!

There are a lot of other PPC sites out there that are a fraction of the cost of Google. Especially since mobile ads are starting to gain momentum too.

Ya that's true...There is nothing different with ppc ads..instead we can even manage it with doing SEO work too. But the thing we need to do is always be updated and keep doing the work. Instead PPC clicks are not fixed for every time....even if we get, most of them are not of valuable click. it's just for generating traffic. That's it.

I've been using solo ads the next couple of months which I've found effective.

I have never used Google PPC ads. Neither have any of my clients and we suffer no lack of solid prospective customer leads through our Web/blog systems.
Although recently activity of a few well placed ads on Facebook have generated a decent ROI
