If I'm marketing a product, I like to purchase numbers from different local areas that will buy the products.

Like if I want to market a product in LA and New York because the product sell better there. I will purchase a numbers with those area codes that will redirect to my call center.

Now what I found it's better to do this with smaller cities but works to some degree anywhere. I know this is old but it still works.
