Haven't you ever had the problem of being confronted with an invoice being presented to your payment processor without you really being able what it is really for ?
I HATE vendors not using thesame name on their invoices as when they sold you something (in a sales letter for instance), or NOT mentioning on their billing request what product or service the bill is for.

I would like to change this behavior, cause very often it leads to bills being paid that shouldn't have been paid by your payment processor, and then you need to start a refund claim or a dispute.

why wouldn't we start a kind of campaign in order to get vendors to adhere some kind of "code of conduct" about the billing ? Wouldn't it be a nice thing if we could get ALL vendors to use (on their billing requests) thesame name they used in their sales pages AND to mention the product they are billing you for ?

Actually, thesame thing kind of occurs in another field, namely list building and sending out adds :
here too, hardly ever you see exactly what list it is all about, so you cannot really verify if you did indeed subscribe to that list or not.

Is anyone out there on thesame wavelength ? Would you like things to finally become CLEAR in billings ? Then PLEASE give a short COMMENT ! THANKS a lot.
