My Cats are so cool

Hey there,

Was just reading you post about cats and had to write a quick blurb about our cats. I have two siamese cats and a calico. My oldest siamese is a handful but very lovable. He has quite a few things he will do to get your attention. While you are sleeping in the middle of the night he gets up on the bed and taps your lips with his paw to wake you up so you will feed him. He sscratches the bed until you wake up also. He also will bite gently on your elbow. My youngest siamese will rub against your legs while meowing and then will flop over on his back and put all fours up in the air and just lay there till you pet him. My oldest siamese will also wake you up when the others are hungry. My calico is real quiet when she wants attention she meows a short deep meow and then puts her head right to your fingertips and wants to be petted. She then walks back and forth meowing while you pet her. Then she will duck her head down and push against your hand while you pet her. Thats about it for my cats that i can think of at the moment.

Hello!

I noticed you have applied for group administrator. I'll be happy to look at your application but I'm not sure how to do this. Can you help me?

Like the story about your siamese cats. I have a cat that in the middle of the night will launch herself from the bureau to the bed to wake me up and believe me she wakes me up. Scares me to death to be honest. Then I have another cat that while I am eating my cereal, sits and watches me, puts her paws on my leg, and meows at me until I get done, so she can lick the bowl.

Hey, I'm new here and read your comment. I have been doing cat rescue for about 10 years, and I've had some cats that do similar things. My cat, Ashes, is a beautiful Russian Blue who was given to us b/c her owner couldn't keep a pet in her apartment. The cat was describes as being "not very sociable". Shortly after moving her into our bedroom, she started sleeping cuddled up against me ;-)
She is a real sweetie. We recently moved and she "went off her feed" and wouldn't eat and started losing weight, so we force-fed her a couple of times until she started eating again, but she wouldn't eat much, so we pureed her food for her <lol> (the things we do for our "babies"!). Now she wakes me up at about 2:00 every morning by gently touching my face with a paw. If that doesn't work, she will walk over my chest and around my head on the pillow and then circle again, until I get up and feed her! Then she goes thru the whole thing again at about 4:00. But I really don't mind, as long as it keeps her healthy.
