Sounds like a great idea. I have recruited a few sign ups by telling some of my friends on other social networking communities. I see a ton of banners for a lot of the programs already in MP and make a friendly suggestion to check out the pond.
Sometimes it works.

Thanks for the posts everyone, I will place some more information here shortly, got a lot of work on at the moment and it's hard to find the time. Hope that situation will change as I build my online income via Marketing Pond and some other things I am working on!
