The exercise to "replay" your day.

I was interested to come across a simple exercise to "replay" your day.

It was suggested by Dr. David Simon from the Chopra Center for Well-Being. When you can review your daily events at the end of the day, you have a chance to see where you might have gone wrong, or check your perspective on those events from a more objective point of view.
Here's what you do. Before you go to sleep, sit up with a pillow propped behind you, and bend your knees or cross your legs in a comfortable position. Have a pencil and a piece of paper -- or a journal, or diary, if you keep one -- by your side. Then close your eyes, and start to breathe in slowly and deeply. Then exhale, slowly and deeply. Just put your attention on your breathing, and let your body relax and your mind will start to quiet down.
When you feel relaxed, visualize the events of your day, starting from the beginning up to the present moment. If you find that your body reacts in a negative way to any picture that you are seeing, like a nervous feeling in your stomach or a muscle twitch, it could indicate something that you need to resolve.
Go over the particular event in your mind and ask yourself honestly what you felt was wrong and how you could correct it. Write your feelings down and resolve to correct things if you need to the next day.
