Surfing TEs and using the mouse only for icon clicking. I do that now. I have 2 different methods. One is my "dumbbell" technique, which has evolved. Since I have a laptop, I put a little rock on the CTRL key, and I put a TV remote control on the rock, so the CTRL key stays down. Then, I use one finger to press TAB to change the browser tab while surfing when the timer has finished. 2nd technique is necessary with some sites, cause with the 1st technique, they open a new tab ( see 1st comment )

 Web IlliterateWell, i don't know what kind of keyboard you have, but with the thumb on the CTRL and the index on the TAB key. Or are you a left hander? Then it works! But the other day I told you about a software which allows you to change the key sequences. I just tried it out for firefox. Now I can move from tab to tab by pressing the TAB key only. Web IlliterateEvenso this software works in the background you have the possibility to start and close it at any time. Once started it displays a small icon beside the system clock. From that icon you can create, edit, pause, delete a certain key function or close the program. I'm running the program since the day I mentioned it to you. No problem yet! Jun 25th 2011 21:29 |

which defeats the whole purpose of surfing using a fixed number of tabs. SO, the 2nd technique is to use 2 fingers, one for CTRL and the other for TAB. When I do that, I place the keyboard so I can 1st press CTRL with the index and then press TAB with the thumb. Else, continually using the thumb on the CTRL and whichever finger on the TAB would become very uncomfortable, and I fear it might have dire consequences for my hand.
