Most self-hosted blogs appear to be using WordPress as their platform. Is any one using others like Joomla or Concrete5 as their CMS? I am discovering some great features in these alternatives.

Nev, could give a link for an intro to Joomla? Is a free version available to try?

Mohann, I have installed both Joomla and Concrete5 to a couple of my sites using the installers in cPanel that is supplied with my web hosting.

I haven't used Joomla yet, but I'm impressed by the way that Concrete5 works.

There is a free demo of Joomla, but I'll send the link in a PM. I believe it's a free, hosted with support, demo for 1 month.
