I am finished putting 6-second timer TEs in my first group.

1) How do I set up the group to change tab automatically?

2) Is there a way or a plug-in to stop the auto-play videos? I HATE THAT !

Thanks !

Go to Options ==> Advanced Options ==> Browser Taba ==> Slide Show. Now insert the time in msec. Close Option.
To switch the timer on or off press at the same time: Ctrl-Shift-Backspace
That's it!

uh, what about if I'm doing something else at the same time, one surf will then last 12 seconds for that tab ?

Sorry, forgot the 2nd question: Switch off hte sound!
A better solution I don't have.

What about pop-ups? How to block or automatically delete them?

to your question: uh, what about if I'm doing something else at the same time, one surf will then last 12 seconds for that tab.
I don't really get it.
Let me make you an example:
You have 5 TE installed in one group. Each TE requires 6 sec. You need 2 sec to decide what to click and 1 sec to click total 3 sec.
So you put the timer on 3 sec. Every 3 sec the tab will change. After 15 sec you're back.
Theoretically your TE is ready since 9 sec. Most of the time it takes a sec or two more.
Now if you do it the way I just told you, you can see every minute 20 TE ads. If you do it the "conventional" way, you will see at most 10 ads probably only 6 to 7.
Hope you understand what I tried to tell you here. If not: never mind, just do as I told you. It works

LOL

I think I put too many TEs in the 6-sec group, I wasn't able to stop the slideshow, I had to close CB

Best is to put about 5.
I find it's more easy just to surf 5 at a time.
And every day another goup.
At the end of one week you probably surfed more with less efford. and you're not fed-up of it

With HitSafari and PSC, I surf 200 sites a day on it and the 2 others. I agree, I will create many groups, anyway, it's easier to put TEs that I can click in about the same area with a short timer, and a longer one for other groups.

I guess I will have to collect all of this here and make an article of it. Including your mishaps :)
Will do it on Tuesday. Maybe till then a few question more will come up.

Back to your second question above: "Is there a way or a plug-in to stop the auto-play videos? I HATE THAT !" Except for switching off the sound I don't have any solution.
What about my question: "What about pop-ups? How to block or automatically delete them?". Do you have a solution?

I hate the timer. I gave up on Crazy Browser.

I tried the tab groups, but it looks like they can't be saved. So, I will continue to work the way I do, i.e. with my main apps in one FF window ( APSense, IBO, IMfaceplate, etc... ) on my laptop and my 2nd window on my external monitor. I found a neat way to be very efficient, I will write a subject about it.

Sorry to hear that!
Sure you can save the groups: Just go to groups and press "Save all Pages as Group..."
I guess you put the timer too tight. So you're too slow for it. RIght? Had this problem too. Added a second or two to the timer.

No, I don't like for many reasons. If a nice page appears, I might lose it. The 3-key combination to stop it is awkward. The bonus credits that appear like at Dragonsurf are cumbersome to get with the timer method.

Also, I find it too stressful for me. I need methods where I can relax any second I want to.

I just published my method in another subject here.

Everything has advantages and disadvantages.
Where did you publish your methods?

I call it "relaxed efficiency for TEs", in the group here, also "Relaxed efficiency for safelists", in the safelists group.

When I wrote "I tried the tab groups", I ,meant for FF. I know groups can be saved in CB, it would be very nice in FF, since I open 2 different windows.

Oh, and I can listen to classical music all day long without any annoying "THIS IS THE BEST (fill the blank) EVER!!!" taking me by surprise.

I do sometimes listen to the first album by Metallica. :)

Metallica = classical music? Well, if you call "Nothing else matters" classical music, so be it!

No, it's from end of the spectrum to the other, for sure. I can listen to the whole album, but for all day listening while doing serious work, there's nothing like good classical, and I mean preferably from the Baroch and Classical Era, the romantic is sometimes way too dramatic, and modern is, well, even tougher to listen to than Metallica. Especially Aaron Schonberg. I do like some concertos from Benjamin Britten though

Have to admit I don't know Benjamin Britten.
I seldom listen to music when working (if what I do here can be called working) but when reading a book I appreciate some classical music in the background: Tschaikowsky, Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart or Chopin, you name it, even Ravel.
But when driving I switch to Hardrock.or Psychedelik Rock (Doors, etc)
