Shopping for a Literary Agent

I have have self-published 5 books through LULU, and am working on my
sixth book currently.  In the beginning of my literary journey I was so
excited to be able to self-publish that I went full steam ahead without a
defined direction or solid game plan, but now that I'm into my 6th book
I am looking to polish up my product and
bring it up to marketable standards.  I am quite proud of what I've
accomplished on my own thus far, but I need to take my endeavor to
another level.

I read an interesting post regarding self-publishing that was an
eye-opener.  My first 5 books have IBSN numbers that were supplied by
LULU, but the information I read about ISBN assignment didn't discourage me, it enlightened me.  My
vision for a path forward includes a strategy that calls for a step
backwards to re-emerge better and more polished.

I work
constantly to brand the G. D. Grace name, and with all of the time I
spend doing this I have made a conscious decision to better
understand this business as a whole.  I am shopping around for a credible Literary Agent. .

I have a literary blog I started February 2010 that has had over 11,000 visitors, and also a Blog Talk Radio show that I started on
9/2/2010 called "A Touch of Grace"  that has had over 7,000 visitors.

The goals & expectations I have set for myself are high.

I
am looking for and ethical and professional person to help me along this next stretch of highway on my literary journey.   I tried hooking up with an agent a couple of years ago,
but did not sign that contract because, after research, I found that
"The Literary Agency"
had all kinds of red-flags and complaints against it.  It really turned
me off, but I know that I need to turn the flame up under my career and
I'm looking for the right person to make that happen.

Writing
is my passion.  I'd do it even if I'm not getting paid, but need to get
paid to be able to do it 24/7 and make a living to support myself.
