We all know that the internet has opened doors for a lot of us to harness it's resources for our benefit. The problem with this is that it can easily take us away from other important issues. It is true that we were all seeking freedom from the 9-5 life, and decided to venture into our own business (Mostly online).
One thing I have realized is that, apart from the fact that we have the freedom to do what we want, we are still caught up with a lot of work. Building a business online takes a lot of hard work (Agreed), but at some point we have to take a breather. Below are a few ways to carry out your day (If you're not doing it already).
Before you retire for the night, be sure to outline what you need to accomplish the next day (Put it where you can see it).Start your day with a prayer or meditation (Whichever one works for you); show gratitude for a new day and the new experience you're going to have.Do a bit of exercise, flex your muscles (it will help you relax). If you're the type that goes jogging, then that's a good way to go.Affirm what you desire. Speak the things that you wish to have. Say it, and believe.Get yourself a good breakfast and relax for a while before venturing to start work on your business.Get on your business; switch off anything that will distract you. Focus on what you need to do - post a blog, video, send and email, call up someone (Follow up), chat with people (If necessary), contribute on forums you've joined etc.Avoid spending so much time on one thing; if you hit a brick wall in the process, leave it, and go on to other things. You will get back to finish it up. Don't force it.If you have a family, ensure to spend time with them. Don't neglect family time for your business. Prioritize your time effectively.If things are not moving as planned, relax. Re-evaluate what you've done so far and see where you need to make changes.Try as much as you can to sleep early (I know this one's hard for most of us); it will help your mind relax for the next day.I hope these few tips are helpful.
