How Can You Earn an Income On the Internet

I'm Screaming - Is Anyone Listening To All This Social Networking Drivel?

You're screaming as loud as you can across the entire virtual world
do you think that anyone is really hearing you. I wonder about this a
lot.

What with everyone talking! Is anyone really listening?

Here I go again still trying to wrap my head around all this Social
Networking mega mania. Lately I have looked at so many blogs,
discussions, wall posts, comments, blurbs and the like that my head is
literally swimming with information whether good or not so good.

With all this information buzzing around in my head like a swarm of
frenzied bees I had to wonder! If we are all talking! Who
exactly is listening?

OK! OK!  I know this may sound a bit melodramatic but that was intentional.
The truth is that, we know that some of the veteran, well-respected
Internet Marketers have been able to carve out their own little piece of
the web.

Thus, secure that niche so that they have a constant and loyal flow
of listeners and followers to whatever they are saying at any given
moment.

The question then is: How do the rest of us copy-cat these veteran
marketers? Thus getting our word out the way they have been able to.

One thing comes immediately to mind commitment! Commitment!
Commitment! Yes it takes a great deal of commitment and consistency
working within your area of choice, expertise or niche before you can
even assume to get notice in this maze called the World Wide Web (www).

Getting noticed online is the goal of all those who set out to place
any information whatsoever on the internet. Whether on their own
website, social networking sites, blogs, news letters or email and the
like.

This is even more so for Internet Marketers because outside of being
noticed their ultimate goal is to close a sale. That's what marketers do
right!

So how do you get noticed? My experience has taught me that to get
noticed online you have to position yourself strategically before your
target audience.

Talk directly to them, stay on topic, give quality content, keep your
information regularly updated, reply to comments to your posts, updates and
blogs, answer emails and messages. Yes you have to do all this and believe me this is just the tip of the iceberg so to
speak.

The point is staying in constant contact with your target audience is
critical.  It is indeed a lot of  "stuff" to navigate. But it is in your
interest to figure out what works for you when it comes to staying on
top of social networking if you are using it as a business building
tool.
So! Now I am talking directly to you. Are you listening?

Nice article Lylette!

I have always wondered the same thing and you're right, we keep in direct contact with our targeted market and consistent if we want people to listen. It's a job but it must be done if we want to stay on top.
