Under the Land Pooling Policy, farmers or landlords will be able to build flats on their land. They will also have to facilitate building flats for the economically weaker sections. If a minimum of 70% of the land is registered in a sector, then the DDA will take 40% of the land in that sector to develop basic facilities. Other facilities including schools, parks, roads will be developed here.
