Tourist Season Trip advice

Hi All,
Well...It's tourist season here in Maine ....and the Northeast.....boy what a time that can be...lol.... Can I just post a warning.....I get so many people who come into the hotel looking for a room....that's great....problem is it's tourist season and usually on the Weekends there are no hotel rooms to be found......wow..... People....please check ahead and make a reservation.... this way you'll be covered for a place to stay.
Use Mapquest.com's advanced feature to map hotels, gas stations and restaraunts/rest stops along the area.
There's a very useful trip calculator at the AAA website, good for calculating gas costs one way and round trip by your car model.
