That's a strange thing for me to say, isn't it?
Me, the most ardent decryer of audio-visual presentations!
Well, I've had a change of heart.
Over 85% of all the promotional emails and blogs that I receive contain audio or audio-visual material. I ignore them until I have a little time when I am prepared to have my intelligence insulted and my ears battered by hesitant, mumbling , self congratulatory circumlocuting er, er, er, er . . . individuals.
In the last week, only one (count it - o n e!) audio-visual presentation grabbed my attention. Indeed it did it so well, even though it told me absolutely nothing about the product or the programme, that I posted a reply saying that I would like to have a hint about what the programme was about. As I mentioned in another blog, my enquiry was deleted - obviously the question was too difficult.
Over 85% of my promotional emails and blogs took only 15 minutes to review!
What a phenomenal time saver!
YES! I've grown to love audio-visual!
Just a little hint for those of you who use audio-visual - GET TO THE POINT! QUICKLY! If the point is not clear within 10 seconds and if you can't expand the point in 30 seconds - forget it!
