On a day of limited action, have a look at ELECTRIC WARRIOR (Southwell, 2.30), who looks real value at a forecast price of 8-1.



There is no doubt that this is a hot race for the track, but Karl Burke has his team in blistering form and the five-year-old is capable of a minor shock. Although his best runs so far have been reserved for Kempton, he did run well on the Fibresand on New Year's day. He tried to make all but ran out of steam over the mile. This drop back in trip on the surface can help and a big run is anticpated.



NOBLE PLUM (Southwell, 3.00) represents the much feared Sir Mark Prescott yard and will be a warm order to win the 1m 4f handicap. The filly clocked well in a fascile win here eight days ago and looks well ahead of the handicapper.



LITTLE FIRECRACKER (4.00, Southwell) can take a poor race now switched to the east midlands track. The filly won on debut on the good to soft at Thirsk and should appreciate the surface after running with credit on the quick Polytrack.

There appears to be quite a bit of support for Town And Gown in the 3.30 at Southwell.  I see that Winning Line are also supporting this with a 3pt tip.
