WODHILL SCHNAPS (Southwell, 4.00) has been in the doldrums for a few months but looks back to form after an eyecatching run two weeks ago.




The seven-year-old had a purple patch in the summer including a win at the east midlands track and then the results declined dramatically. However, a return to Southwell and a drop in the weights has revived the gelding and he stayed on well over 7f last time. He gave every impression that a mile would suit better and in a poor handicap, he can return to winning ways.




FIGARO FLYER (Wolverhampton, 6.50) is a force to be reckoned with at the track and returns in a bid to bag his fifth course win. The Mozart geldng tends to struggle elsewhere and produced a poor effort at Southwell ten days ago. His pace is seen to best effect around the tight Wolverhampton turns and he will be hard to beat tonight.




QAASI (Woverhampton, 8.20) scored well in a similar race just a few days ago and can be backed to repeat the feat again. This is a desperate affair and the six-year-old comes out clear on the speed ratings.
