Yesterday's review:

I was left absolutely gutted after yesterday's results but it wasn't because I lost 5 points on JEAN LE POISSON. He ran ok but did not get home in the ground and was beaten fair and square into 3rd place. No, the reason I felt like strangling the cat was watching TRINCULO win at Southwell @ 12/1. You may recall that I had arranged to put 4pts each way on him last Tuesday at Wolverhampton (when he was a similar price to yesterday) but he was withdrawn. I took the decision to not get involved at Southwell given that it was the first day of racing on their new surface and it was difficult to know how the track would ride. I could really kick myself for not following through on a horse which I fancied so strongly only seven days ago and we should have been looking @ 30 - 40 points profit yesterday instead of a 5 point loss - aargghh!!
