Using discussion forums to build your business

Internet discussion forums are a great tool you should use for education, relationship building and marketing yourself. There are forums on almost any subject you can think of, and using them daily can be very beneficial to you.
Are you quite new to internet marketing? One of the best forums to educate yourself is the Warrior Forum. There are many experienced marketers who contribute there and you can search the forum to find discussions on what you may be looking for. If you can't find it you can ask... there are lots of good people there ready to help or direct you to the right place for answers to your questions. It's one of the best places to get free information. There even is a folder that lists the most popular discussions so with one click of the mouse you can easily find them.
Wondering about purchasing an ebook on marketing but would like some opinons on what others think of it? If it is a fairly new book you might be able to find this information by doing a search, if not you can ask and there will be someone who has read it and can give you their view. This can save you both time and money. My feeling is if two or three give something a negative opinion then I will pass on it. On the other hand, if several recommend it then it probably is something I will benefit from. This is just one example of how you can use forums.
Another excellent one is MLM.com. Like the Warrior forum there are quite a few experienced marketers here you can learn from. These two forums have thousands of members each so every day there are many new discussions about a variety of topics.
You can do a google search to find many more, but these two are ones I definitely recommend.
Another way to use discussion forums is to get to know other like minded people. I have made friends with many marketers. You can learn a lot from each other and build relationships with them.
When you contribute to different forums you can add a signature line to the end of your posts. This is how you advertise whatever it is you are marketing. You never want to advertise your MLM directly. It's considered spamming and members don't appreciate it, especially experienced marketers. In extreme cases it can get you banned entirely. Contribute to discussions by adding quality posts, ask questions, and be friendly. People will check out your signature and contact you if they wish. I have found new business partners this way and so have many others, so it definitely can work.
