Been having a difficult time the past few days "gettin it done".

The truth is a lot is happening and I have done some massive advertising with great results.

The Fall, especially September and October is chock-full of NEW products and Opportunities and I have alwsy been a yes person....try anything.

Just think, the best things that ever happend to most of us was because we siad YES..
Well my Yesses have resulted in positve cash Flow.....

But I haven't completed my scheduled tasks.

Anyone else fall into that Trap?
How do you get back on Track...
Let's cut loose and share.

Here is a great read on procrastination.

I top it because of the subject, but I do not agree 100% with too many Yes-es. Opportunities bring few bucks here and there, but I'm always looking to business from the entrepreneur's perspective. By havinga GOOD business plan with ONE MAIN goal and doing all IMPORTANT things related to your goal - on long term run - can bring you much more satisfaction and profit that few opportunities.
I'm sure Chuck has a plan and will reveal it through his Marketing class for beginners to all students.

Hi Chuck,

I had to join a group to post this comment! Yeah, saying yes is a good thing but it can distract you and be a form of procrastination....

sometimes i think the Yes Syndrome can also be an addiction.... join a new website/opportunity get it all set up and running... wow... adrenaline rush!

But I totally know what you mean by "Now, Beth, Read it and Put it into Action!"

Great Topic Chuck!

Procrastination or as the latin says 'Procrastinatus' literally meaning "Forward tomorrow".

As the old joke goes...'Always put off for tomorrow what you should do today." I know many times my friends & I have laughed at this saying & said it ourselves to each other in jest & yet sadly for many of us we truly suffer from the effects of PROCRASTINATION upon our lives you know...
I Shoulda... I woulda...I Coulda... BUT sad to say I did not take needed ACTION! & missed out on an opportunity(as another commedian has said "Shut up! You're
SHOULDING all over yourself!").

Indoing some reading on the topic today I found it interesting that some Psycologists state the ...reason we may be prone to this problem is our need to be perfect in what we attempt to do

Well as our friend Joe Schroeder has said many times "You don't need to get it Right, you just need to get it going!"

Thanks Again Chuck...I know you are a 'DOER' & will getter' DONE!...HANG in there!

regarding the Yesses;

The philosophy of being a Yes person rests on the ability
to excercise an open Mind and not be afraid to let your intuition rule.

We do need to first have accumulated knowledge of the area,
and then move forward positively...
If the results do not reach expections move on...
The best thing that ever happened to anyone is usually form
a YES

I agree about Yes as Attitude but don't agree about Yes as Action. For example, if you have offers to join too many good programs, you say yes to all, and then get swamped by too many things to do in only one life...
