The "Stick It" Link in Subjects

by Penny Young Consultant

How does the "Stick It" link work in someone's subject when you are the administrator of a group? I am assuming that it keeps the subject somewhere at the top (although in Australia, it is actually quite rude ... and would mean the roughly the same as "delete it" ... LOL).

In what order does it "stick" the subjects, and is it reversable?

I don't want to play with it because it involves other people's posts.

Any info would be appreciated.

LOL... Slightly different form of Stick it, in this case Penny...

In the actual subject itself, it "sticks" (or i say pins) the reply to the top of the comments section (This would happen if a reply was "right on".

In the Group itself, it pins the subject to the top of the list of subjects (something only administrators of a group can do)...

In each of the examples above the terms used are slightly different but they both mean the same...

You can tell a topic or comment that has been pinned by a little paperclip image on a green background to the left of the subject.

Hope that helps.

Thank you, Eric. That really helps explain it. Do you know if you can "unstick it" as well?

Thanks
Penny

If you look at any of the subjects posted in a group where you are an administrator, it is in the column on the right hand side, under the author info.

Hi, I have a question.
Do you contact at least 10,000 Marketers a day with your ads?

Because that is exactly what my computer is doing for me right now... Im not at home; I'm at the lake with my 2 young boys.

If 1 sale per thousand contacts earns me 75.00, Then I will make 750.00 today! Every Day! How much a day would that be for your product?
