Making the search box remember

I have been frequently using the search box at the top right hand side of Apsense pages. I would like to suggest that, if possible, the search term is remembered.
For example, if I type something in the box, select "blogs" and click - if there is no result, I need to type the something in the box again if I want to search for the same term in "groups", and so on.
I am suggesting that it would be good if the last search term remains in place until the window is closed or a new search term is chosen. What do you think?

Hi Penny,
If you use internet explorer, you should be able to set it so your last search is shown in a drop down menu, if you double click in the search box...
