Hello, This Subject is to teach you the fundamentals of making your hard earned credits on traffic exchanges work for you.

With many traffic exchanges now hosting a 10 second surf timer between pages viewed your page is not shown for very long. On traffic exchanges where your surf time her 10 seconds or less follow some of these general rules.

1. Make sure your page is nearly image free. Images take time to load. If they are surfing on a 56k modem and in some cases even a cable or dsl, if you have a cluttered page with a lot to load your page is not going to be seen. Keep it simple and to the point.
2. Splash pages work effective here. What is a splash page? A splash page is a single fast loading image to spark the surfers attention and curiosity to visit your web site. They do this by clicking the image or somewhere below or in the image itself. This link should be set to a target="blank" This will cause the link when clicked to load in a new page. This is effective because the surfer is not interrupted and your page is now in the foreground for that surfer to visit later on. An example of this can be found for my visitmaniac site at... http://www.visitmaniac.com/splash1.php

Some traffic exchanges such as the old school ones like webmasterquest and iloveclicks etc still have their 30 second timers. These sites are effect as well. This gives your site time to load up completely. Animated pages are best promoted here. However keep the top half of your site as eye catchy as possible and with a link that says Open this page in new window. Again linking it with a target="blank" If the surfer likes your site they will click on this link to take a deeper look into your site later.

Remember to keep your site clean, to the point , as fast loading and eye catching as possible. Remember to ALWAYS have a link for them to click on to open your web site in a new window.

These tips should help you increase your sign ups and or interested parties in your site. To your success!
