A couple weeks ago Jimmy Fallon tripped over a braided rug and his wedding ring was caught on the kitchen counter as he fell, taking his ring finger! I stopped wearing my ring right after I read about this, but then the wife was not too happy about it. She was quite brilliant though, and bought me a silicone wedding band.
